Service Description

This one-day pottery course is designed to build a strong foundation in fundamental techniques such as Pinching, Slab Work, and Wheel Throwing. Hand-building is one of the most versatile and accessible methods in pottery. It allows you to connect deeply with the material, understand its nature, and explore endless creative possibilities using minimal tools. Once you've grasped the basics, you can easily continue creating pieces from the comfort of your home — all you need is clay and some basic skills. Additionally, you will learn the basics of Wheel Throwing and how we build forms on the wheel. Limited to 9 students per session (registration is on a first-come, first-served basis) What You'll Learn: - Introduction to pottery and clay -Create and paint a plate using hand-building techniques (pinching, slab work) -Try your hand at wheel throwing to craft a Bowl or Mug Workshop Details: Duration: 2.5 hours Skill Level: Beginner-friendly Materials: All provided Whether you’re exploring a new hobby or just curious about working with clay, this workshop is a great way to dive in. Come get your hands dirty! Note: 1. The class fee is inclusive of material and tools. 2. At the end of this course, you have the option of taking your finished pieces at a nominal fee of Rs 250/- per piece. The pieces will be bisque fired and glazed by us in predefined colours. The process of drying, glazing, and firing can take up to 3- 4 weeks. 3. No refunds will be provided if the registration is not cancelled 1 week before the class.
